Epic worlds and magical creatures fighting for justice are your go to.

Our hearts ached reading this beautifully wondrous story by Tomi Adeyemi. The world of Orïsha is spectacular. It feels so real. We soaked up every description and poured over every inch of the map, wishing for magic within us like Zélie. Please don’t be daunted by the size of this high fantasy. We were so immersed that we felt an immense connection to the land and people and sped through it. Certain plot points didn’t quite hold together, but we loved the characters. We cried for them, felt their pain, and yearned for their revolution.
